"This is a lovely hotel in a very rural area of Virginia. We were very happy with the quality and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Only reason that it's not a 5 star is because the microwave was non- functional. Otherwise, fantastic place."

"We have been here twice and it is a great National Park facility. Rooms were clean. This is a bit rustic. TV cable had only 9 channels and no phones in rooms. Views were limited as trees blocked views from rooms. Food was OK but menu was very limited and it seemed that a few more staff may have improved speed of service. We still recommend this location but you need to be prepared for this location. Big Meadows is also another location a bit further along the drive. Slightly different food menu but power was out when we stopped by. Seems like a nice facility too."
