“You need to contact hotel through WhatsApp for check in Or there is no response. The key for the room is in lockbox at top of the stairs. Once inside, the view is amazing. Worth every penny and all the stairs. There are no beach towels or bag. Everything is an additional charge- drip coffee, water. Expresso costs the same downstairs in town. For those with bad knees or have trouble with stairs, do not recommend. There are about 70 stairs. Overall, it was very pleasant and air conditioned.”

“We really enjoyed our suite. The room had some normal wear and tear that didn’t really impact our stay. It took us a little bit of communication with the staff to figure out that the lights and wifi only work when the room key card is in the slot by the door. “The room was super clean and the location is nice. The building is very old, tight stairs, no lift, but this is what you shall expect in Cinque Terre overall. The staff was not helpful, as they shared the instructions on whatsapp and didnt answer our calls upon check in. The parking at Riomaggiore is an issue, we had to wait 2 hours in the queu for an empty spot. If you are visiting with your car, consider staying in a calmer area.”

“This place is all about the view. Stunning. But you will have to walk up a billion stairs (or a long, steep ramp) to get there. True for most places in Manarola, but could be hard for those with mobility issues. It was a nice touch they provided a light breakfast for the first morning. The lack of a/c was rough, despite the sea air. It was very humid. Ceiling fans did help some. The water pressure in the shower was the best in Italy.
