“Excellent breakfast ”

“We greatly enjoyed our suite. It was clean and spacious. Though the wood cleaner used on the bed frame the smell was quite a bit strong in the room. But if you are expecting to get a good night sleep you may be lacking. While the bed is comfortable, the other guests do not take into consideration of others. When we called the front desk at 12:30,12:50, and 3:30 with lots of screaming shouting door slamming we were told the man at the counter “Tyler” is just the valet. And that either they were……

“There is a chasing aces on the property they would seem to be a lot of fun. Didn't have time to try it out. Did eat there and the food was great. Helpful staff. Next trip will have to try ir out.”

“this is a safe feeling area for the down town location. we loved the furnished kitchen and full refrigerator -and the breakfast was excellent! lots of parking -even for our trailers. ”

“We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. It was clean, the amenities were great, the beds were……

“It was so-so! No breakfast, no microwave, no bottled water!”

“Toilet was loose and rocked sitting, dust blew out of ac vent all over suitcase ”

“Elevators on the main floor were not working. Apparently from what we were told they have been out of service for over a month. Room was comfortable and clean. Rust on wall in shower. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in.”

“As soon as we walked in the lady on night shift made us feel very welcome. On my travels, I finally got my king size bed at this hotel. When we walked into the room we noticed right off the full kitchen with dishes included. We wished we had found something like this in Fort Worth, Texas the few days we were there. Free parking as well. We were very pleased and pleasantly surprised. ”

“Location is clean, accommodating and very friendly staff. The staff in the breakfast area were very attentive and genuinely nice. Very good breakfast. Check in and check out was fast and staff was friendly.”

“This place was sketchy. I stayed in a sweet that was almost empty. It looked like someone try to break into the room before. I would NOT bring children to this property, the clientele were rough looking at best. Had homeless people by the entrance and exit. Staff was great, but would definitely not recommend.”

“Breakfast was great, air conditioning was great, Rooms were updated, bed was comfortable! I would have given 5 stars but the lady that checked me in was not very friendly.. not rude.. but didn’t seem to like her job. Overall great hotel! ”

“There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed.”

“Mattresses were hard. Next to the freeway so you can hear everything. No hairdryer. But it was spacious, clean, easy to get to, great water pressure, and liked that they had a microwave and the fridge was extra cold!”

“The check-in staff was very kind, everything else was disappointing. All towels had holes in them, the furniture was mixed matched. All the "fixed" places on the walls wete very obvious. Definitely needs to be updated.”
