Beautiful yurt in the woods 🙂

Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them.

Everything was good with the property, communication was great, convenient to everything, price was reasonable and will be back and will recommend to friends and family. Thank you for having us!

The Owl's Perch and surroundings is beautiful and serene. I would 100% recommend. The accommodation in very well laid out with many things thought of for your convenience. Enjoyed every moment, wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for our babymoon! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. This is the cutest cabin, with everything you need to have a lovely, cozy stay in Bryson City. Everything was so new. The porch is gorgeous and we used the fire pit outside—very autumn on purpose. I’m going back as soon as I can:)

What a lovely place!!!! The property is immaculately maintained. It’s quiet, serene and very cozy. You can also venture into some fun and weird local spots.

From the moment my fiance and I arrived at the Tapoco Lodge on Monday, August 24th, until we left on Saturday, August 29th, the entire experience was incredible! First of all, the entire staff is absolutely AWESOME! They took customer service to a level neither one of us had ever seen before. We had planned to leave on Friday, August 28th, but we were having so much fun we decided to stay an extra night. We stayed the first 3 nights in the Sunflower Room. I have stayed here several times and i keep going back. It's a nice quiet place and it doesn't cost outrageously.

The cabin was great! Rustic looking on the outside, modern and comfortable on the inside. The bed was very nice and I especially liked the hot tub and rocking chairs on the porch.

Stayed in the bear suite, decorated nicely with the theme. Had breakfast items, drinks in frig, coffee, everything you need for quick breakfast and pastries that were very good. Bathroom items, they are very thoughtful on having the supplies you need. Overall a very comfortable place to stay and within walking distance to Main Street.

Convenient to hwy 129. Gravel driveway but motorcycle accessible. Mostly flat. Covered parking. Very comfortable bed.

The view is exceptional! No other buildings or roads as far as the horizon!

Our room was immaculate! Cleaner than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Rode over from Nashville on the Harley....scenery got prettier the closer I got...Motel was a welcome sight...love the quiet, simplicity of the place....room was all I could ask for..clean, quiet, perfect location...staff was excellent.....food in the area was good and plentiful....enjoyed the whole experience. Hope to go back in the Fall...

Beautiful scenic location operated by same family for be many many years.

We really wanted to stay near downtown for convenience to dining and brewery. This is a lovely building with good history and very welcoming. Rooms are all different which add to the character. We will be staying again on upcoming trips to Franklin!
