I had already paid in full with Expedia and your front desk staff mistakenly charged me again for the room. I immediately caught it and said please refund this. She said the manager needed to refund the amount the next day. A different person was at the front desk the next day and told me another “manager” would need to process. Meanwhile, eight weeks goes by and no refund. I had corresponded with the "manager", several times over email to inquire about the status of my refund and all I got was a polite runaround and assurances she would see it through. I finally resorted after 8 weeks to filing a dispute with Capital One to register a fraudulent charge, which is now being processed. I should not have had to spend this much time on Marriott’s overcharge error.
