“Ken, the gentleman who takes care of the property was a gem! I asked for something I needed in the suite and he got it very quickly. Moreover he learned it was my birthday weekend and left a bottle of non alcoholic “bubbly” iced down in a wine bucket with a very dear note wishing me a happy “60th” birthday even though he knew it was many more years than that!😉 The suite was very comfortable and had everything you’d need in the kitchen as well as beach towels. “I needed a hotel in a hurry when I arrived in OBX and realized I still had renters in my house (my bad, didn’t check the calendar twice.) Mia’s was available at a good price for the night so I grabbed it up quick. I was very pleasantly surprised!! The property has been nicely renovated and was clean and comfortable. I parked right outside my room and it reminded me of a cute little 1950’s motor court. The AC was great, had a fridge and huge TV and I felt very safe and comfortable. The staff was……
“We arrived on Wednesday and I had to deal with smoking in a non-smoking hotel. I have congestive heart failure and lung failure. I complained Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday. We checked out Sunday afternoon two days early because my health was compromised. They told me there was really nothing they could do about it. Don't advertise it as non-smoking if you won't enforce it.”
