"We booked this property in order to take a mini roadtrip with our new dog. The A frame looked just as advertised; was stylishly furnished and in pristine condition. The grounds were also meticulously cared for…we even met an older gentleman who was happy to chat…he was the groundskeeper there and obviously took pride in his work. The only reason this property received a 4 instead of all five stars, was the awkward start to our stay: we arrived at a few minutes before our 3pm checkin time, and as happens sometimes with middle aged to older men, my husband REALLY needed to use a bathroom. We knew we were early AND at a campground that appeared to minimally occupied, so, not seeing anyone, he headed off to the edge of the woods, aiming to tuck in out of sight. The I was surprised when one of the property management folks suddenly demanding to know who were. Even when I told her, and explained my husband’s predicament, she really laid into me that he couldn’t do that. She calmed down, but still wouldn’t allow for early checkin. Just a bit much. After that, the stay went well. Close to Winter Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula. :)"

"Our stay here was everything one would hope when they dream of a trip to Maine. The setting was perfect. It was quiet. It had everything we needed plus snacks, drinks, and smores supplies - which was an added bonus. We loved every minute of our 2 nights here and wished it could have been longer. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"Our stay was magical. The sunrise piercing through the front window overlooking the deck and the bay was amazing! The house was very, very clean & welcoming. We brought stuff to cook/clean but the house had everything we needed. Our kids and dogs loved the water and listening the waves crashing. Bring extra firewood as you're going to want to stay outside all night and look up at the stars. Would return again, thank you so much!"

"Beautiful and quiet location. We really enjoyed the ocean and seeing both sunrise and sunset. We heard lots of wildlife and enjoyed the privacy. The home isn't kept in the best condition. Torn linoleum and screens. Wobbly dining table (which my son tightened) and worn deck boards and railings. Disorganized and not always clean kitchen utensils and dishes."
