"Our stay in the Penthouse at Sylvan Beach was EXCELLENT!! The property was even better than we expected. The openness of the 3rd floor allowed us to be together but not on top of each other. The couch was comfy, TV was great, table fit us all, and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms were large, except for the room with 2 beds, but even that had enough room to maneuver. The beds were very comfortable. "Very nice place and comfortable beds. Although, if you have small children that still take naps, this particular unit might be a bit noisy. There’s a set of doors that looks like a closet but it’s actually a neighboring unit. It’s locked and blocked off but you can clearly hear everything on the other side. Our neighbors had a large group and they’d often hold conversations by the door. Also, something to consider if you have toddlers, there is no deadbolt option on the main door. My little guy...

Floors/Counters were immaculate and there was a perfect amount of décor without there being tchotchkes taking up valuable surface area. Darren was incredible even when things went wrong. He was very responsive ahead of time and had the unit set up perfectly for our stay, even bringing in an extra table and chairs so that we had a place to decorate cookies!! "We had a very good stay. The house was as described and quite clean. The location was perfect! I agree with another review about one of the beds being noisy. A few suggestions: more bath towels and perhaps a binder explaining how to use the Roku TV setup, and internet, and mention nearby activities. We had a very nice time enjoying the views of the lake and saw many birds and bunnies. Thank you."

"We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake."
