“We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! ”

Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. “The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. Other than the noise and parking, everything else was……
