The location is convenient to the subway - 10min to the city center - U3 and U6 lines from Westbahnhof. The room was spacious, I loved the tall ceilings and the large bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower stall. Beautiful windy iron wrought staircase, nicely kept historic building. Decent small coffee shops in the area. The area seemed off the beaten path from the expected Mariahilferstrasse but worked well. The room could use modern luxuries - a small fridge and a bigger tv but you can easily get by without those. Would stay here again. Great find.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room is fine but wifi definitely needs improvement. Didn't notice any foods around apart from the kebab stall which I'm not really into. 2 supermarkets are nearby. Tram stop is just outside the hotel and train station a bit further away. Anyhow, overall, I'm satisfy with the place for what I'm paying for.

Fantastic location, very close to both tram and subway. We stayed for 6 nights and had a great room overlooking the second courtyard. Brilliant breakfasts with very wide variety of everything - lots of delicious healthy options, and lovely to be able to sit outside to eat breakfast

I was very pleased with this hotel. I needed to stay close to Westbanhoff, so this was a great choice. incredibly affordable for the city, I felt. It's literally across the street from the train station, but not across the busiest road, so I found it fairly quiet. I had a room above the courtyard - (210, if I remember correctly) which was huge. Only drawback is that people as they eat or drink out there will smoke, and the smoke can drift into the room if the windows are open. I was there during very hot days (over 32C), but the room stayed comfortable and there was a fan provided. If I needed food I would just walk across the street to the train station and have a load of choices - even a very nice grocery store to get good fruits or prepared sandwiches. It's also a 5 minute walk to the MariahilfenstraSSe, which is a fun pedestrian street with loads of shopping. Downtown is a few minutes by the UBahn.

"Clean, calm, easy access, good price… what else?"
I spent 10 days at hotel Lucia, while attending a scientific conference in Vienna. The hotel is easy to access from the airport and from everywhere in the city, with a metro stop very close (Johnstrasse) and a tramway. It takes less than 15 minutes (5 metro stops) to get Vienna downtown, including the walk time.
The neiborhood has several restaurants (chinese, austrian, arabic, italian, japanese, slovenian... and even McDonalds!) to choose from.
The hotel staff is nice, they speak english and are always ready to help you. The only "problem" I had is that one day they could not give me some ice cubes that I needed to calm an inflammation on my knee.
