“Clean and very nice place ”

“Pretty mid breakfast compared to the other quality inns I’ve been to. Same boring biscuits and gravy everyday besides weekends when it’s hard boiled eggs. For this I’d only stay here if there weren’t other places available.”

“I had booked a stay for two nights, Friday and Saturday. When we arrived they said on their system it shows my reservation for Sunday to Monday even though when I pull up my confirmation in my email it clearly is not Sunday to Monday. On top of that they didn't have any rooms available so we had to scramble trying to find another place to stay. We were told we wouldn't be charged for this, but I have been and it honestly just hasn't been a good experience overall.”

“Breakfast was ok, sausage gravy, over hard eggs, waffle bar, but was light on any healthier options. The room was clean and neat. Our big complaints were the sketchy, poorly lit, crowded parking areas and the thick pot-smoke in front of and inside the hotel lobby and elevator. Those two things together made the hotel seem less welcoming than I am sure the owners wanted it to be. ”

“I did not like the bathroom in my room. The bathtub was unsafe. It had no grab handles for a safe exit out of the bathtub. The inside tub was very slippery when exiting with bath water in the tub. I needed to literally roll myself out of the tub to the bathroom floor. The inside of the tub had no anti-slip safety. There was no tub water plug to keep water in the tub. To take my bath, I plugged the water drain with a washcloth and held the washcloth down with the back of my heels while on my……

“The place was sheer protection! It was beautifully and wonderfully appointed. I loved the location and I wanted it for nothing. I can’t wait to stay here again! ”

“Room was clean bed was comfy bathroom ceiling was flaking and needs a little love and the pot holes just about totalled my car but overall great hotel”

“I love the concept of Eric's Retreat! The property manager was very helpful and was relatively quick to respond. The only issue I had was the smell of our room. It smelled like overripe oranges and was cloying. I also found a reddish brown tadpole bug in the bathroom. When I alerted the management about it, they said they would be on the look out as they cleaned the room. The bed was very comfortable. This was very close to many places we wanted to go to in this area. ”
