“I considered this property to be well maintained. Our room was cute and decorated nicely. We stayed in the suite and it had a small table, a couch and extra room in the bathroom, with two sinks and extra cupboard space. I liked that we had glass cups for our coffee, along with a coffee pot and a few additional things that you don't typically find in a hotel room. The outside area was well maintained and the location felt safe. We would consider staying here again.”

“Pretty basic but very satisfactory. Clean quiet room (despite a very full hotel) and friendly helpful staff. We had a “family” room (really 2 adjoining rooms) which worked well for us. Nice view of the mountains too.”

“We loved our first stay! Everyone was friendly, room was clean. Close to downtown but still far enough away to be quiet at night. Will be back!”

“The air conditioner was rattling and very loud. There was something above the bathroom ceiling that sounded like water running that never shut off. When we came down at 8:30 to get breakfast and checkout there was no coffee in the breakfast area or lobby and they were out of eggs and waffle batter. The pool and hot tub were great and our room was very clean.”

“What a great location for exploring Salida, right on the river, just off F street. An unusual location on the second story of an historic building (only for those able and willing to climb the stairs to the units.) The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the balcony looking over the river is a great place to enjoy the views. Good AC, and quiet. We feel so lucky we found this mini hotel which is run like an Airbnb. Easy to contact the manager who is very helpful.”

“This was a beautiful hotel and a great location for our three day stay in Buena Vista for my family of four. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The onsite restaurant was also very good and not too outrageously priced. However, I do feel like some functionality was sacrificed for aesthetics. For example, our room in the chateau had no comfortable place to sit other than the bed. It would be nice to have a club chair or upholstered bench so that all four of us could watch……
