I almost gave all 'excellent' ratings. I had one encounter with the spa hostess and a housekeeping staffer that dropped my overall rating. Short spa summary:
I went in to ask her for a day pass, that I wasn’t interested in any treatments. I just wanted to use the pool.
She stated no day pass available on Sundays, the only way to use the pool was to get a treatment.
So I said ok, I’ll get a treatment (so I could use the pool).
She said she’s all out of treatment appointments today.
In the hotel info packet they give you *doesn't say anything about different hours on Sunday.
Can you understand why anyone would be annoyed? Lead with that information next time, instead of making go through that whole conversation and making me feel unwelcome. Most spas have similar rules but it's all about how the human behind the desk handles the problem.
