Lots of great food options in walking distance. Hotel was clean, staff was nice over all. Only complaint is there were several employees, not sure what their duties were, but only one person was able to check in and check out. It was only a 15min wait but it just didnt make sense why during the main check in time only one person was working the front desk. Also there is the homeless shelter near by so there were people high on drugs laying around but thats the typical city unfortunately. We never felt unsafe and they didn't bother us. Other than that Union street was only a couple blocks away and a short drive to other sights.

I stayed here for one night just for my birthday! I decided to treat myself to a nice suite all to myself after a night with friends! The room was beautiful I loved it it had a nice living room area plus a nice queen size bed there were two bathrooms one was a bathtub one with just a shower I took a bath with bubbles I had a great time I was happy BUT for one I checked on the price and they told me 188 I made sure it was 188 then I paid for it everything's good. I looked at my account and realized it was actually $300 that they charged! not once did they tell me $300 it was 188! I enjoyed myself and had a great night but that really upset me. I didn't get anything extra no room service nothing so that really confused me and made me sort of frustrated because $188 and $300 are two different things! And 2 The description said I would be getting slippers and a robe those weren't in there either. It's honestly no big deal but sometimes it is a little things

It’s a nice property. Staff is friendly. But room was ok. Not a balcony like the description. Also heater was not working in room. Was given space heater. This was a gift for my sister and husband to spend a night in SF so it was kind of disappointing that the room was not to par especially for the price.

The attendant who greeted us when we arrived smelled cigarette smoke with a pack of cigarettes peeking from his coat. She was not pleasant at all. I asked for an early check in room to follow so we can leave our luggages and eat out. She said she needed to charge me $50. Wow! You mean we can’t even leave our bags? And mind you this hotel doesn’t even have on-site parking. She eventually let us leave our luggage by bell service. The hotel front desk attendant who checked us in later when we came back was very professional and he knows what he’s doing. Thank you for giving us a free upgrade. I had to tell him though to remove a stack of canned drinks displayed by the front desk. It’s very tacky and killed the hotel vibe!! Totally an eyesore.
