The property has fantastic trails and landscaping. See the grand waterfall! The food is tasty and well-prepared. The spa offers massages with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and valley. The staff is very helpful. The decor is a bit outdated. There are motorcycles that go by the property ...
Step back in time. A surprise in Costa Rica. This once magnificent hotel still retains most of its splendor. Large flowered grounds with little used halls and ancillary buildings make and interesting walk. You could imagine 5 wedding going on at once. In the room and building I stayed in there was ...
Nice Hotel, Staff , we recommended this Hotel. The food is good.
Pleasant views, great breakfast. Traffic in and out is a bit scary
This place is very nice and close to the airport.
The most relaxing tranquil retreat in Costa Rica's tropical cloud forest. I was so in touch with nature in a state of peace.
Expedia messed up my booking,, but the hotel fixed expedia's screw up.. The hotel was great a little older but more a resort and very comfortable. Great food, golds gym. Great pool. Very comfortable room, and resort.
I would stay here again. Shuttle pickup was nice. Excellent value.
Great pool and tennis courts, the gym room was kind of small and outdated. Excellent morning breakfast.
Aging hotel with great food and staff in a decadent governmental system. The beauty of the grounds go beyond the accommodations. Everything in Costa Rica is over priced due to the value added tax system, not only for tourists but also for locals. It's expensive for what you get. Food and drink, accommodations ...
can't complain about a single thing, not far from airport, very very pretty everywhere you look, great food, friendly staff, definitely recommend, National Geographic didn't give them an award for no reason
Lovely! Acoomodating and friendly staff and wonderful treatments!
Bathroom fixtures were all old and the silver wore off showing brass underneath. The bath/shower had lots of algae/mildew/mold and wasn't cleaned. The bed was great. The room service doesn't know English well... Had to go downstairs to order food in person.
A 100+ year-old house converted into a hotel and expanded. Rooms are large w/18' high ceilings and beds are comfortable. Nat as intimate as a B&B but not a Marriott. Superfast internet throughout (I was streaming movies in the evenings with no problems) the hotel, didn't find any dead spots anywhere. ...
Very nice staff. Particularly enjoyed chatting with Kenny.
Great place to go to the night before an early flight out
The people were very friendly. They told me they could find my reservation but not to worry they will figure it out. Finally my reservation was found under my second last name.
This is a nice quiet neighborhood but on a direct bus line to downtown. Bus costs 310 colones or 50 cents US. About 20 min from airport. Gay friendly hotel with a small but nice pool, great sitting areas. Drinks were high priced and the rooms kind of small but everything else was great. Wonderful ...
The hotel is ok, the food of the restaurant is good, the spa is nice. The swimming pool are not so nice
The rooms were very comfortable and the free breakfast was excellent. The only trouble I had was with the hot water and the lack of a phone to call the desk. My husband had to go down to let them know there was no hot water. A maintenance man came up and said the breaker was off and turned it on. ...
