No modern upgrades but very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was amazing! We were upgraded and felt so special. The property has the best views and is so close to downtown Capitola. We were able to walk there and admire a spectacular sunset. The breakfast was perfect. Bagel and fruit were good. We're not coffee drinkers but did make tea with the coffee machine (wasnt sure how it worked but figured it out). Room was clean, pretty, quiet and very private we could hear ppl walking above us but it wasn't too bad. Staff was great. Katrina gave us a little lesson on monarchs when we were checking in. She was kind to wait for our late arrival (accident on freeway). Cleaning staff were sweet and respectful of privacy.
