Beautiful, peaceful location. Amazing monarch butterfly preservation work demonstrated on site. Nice breakfast delivered to room. The suite was clean but shabby chic, historic furnishing. And like many historic inns, sound traveled from next door and upstairs rooms.

This is such an amazing place! You drive through a neighborhood to get there, so the first time I was thinking where am I even going but then you walk into a garden pathway that opens up to butterflies and breathtaking views. If you’re going to Capitola to relax or vacation or zen, this is the place for you!!

We loved our time here. Very friendly staff & the breathtaking ocean view and overall vibes were beautiful & v calming. Slept soundly nestled by the trees & the room has a historical feel but was v comfortable. The delivered Continental breakfast w was a treat too. Will return and recommend w/o hesitation - tremendous value.

It’s a really cool property, with an unbelievable view. The buildings are old, but nice. Breakfast and coffee were great. Location is perfect. A short walk to Capitola Beach area, but far enough away. It sits in a beautiful neighborhood.

This place provided the serenity I needed and was exactly where I needed to be! In addition to the ocean, I was blessed to witness the transformation process of the Monarch butterfly, including emerging from their chrysalis. Such a miracle!

It's a beautiful property, and a functioning Monarch butterly preserve. The staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was excellent, with a wonderful view of Monterey Bay. Breakfast was delivered to our room exactly on time and was a very nice Continental breakfast from a nice French Bakery. We'll stay again next time we're in Capitola.

Very nice and quiet place for couples, secluded from all the traffic because its located in the residential area. The property was not too far from the beach and stores. Staff was very nice and accomodating. The estate had Beautiful Scenery, nested right next to the Ocean. Would highly recommend as a place for a couples retreat.
