Fantastic Downtown One Bedroom Condo Along The Kalamazoo River! Convenient Location With A View!

The Red Door is great for a weekend or week-long stay. One bedroom rental with a large porthole window for river views, located in Downtown Saugatuck. Full kitchen, living room, dining space, bathroom with walk-in shower, all walking distance to everything Saugatuck. While we don’t have private outdoor space with this unit you are more than welcome to enjoy the picnic tables just outside of the building. This place is perfect for those who want to walk to restaurants and shops but also be close to the river and Oval Beach.

INCREDIBLE rental!
This rental was absolutely amazing for my family! The house was spotless - and that matters a ton when you have a crawling baby! Communication with Birdie was easy and fast. The view from the windows was beautiful and the house is so well stocked and comfortable. We loved making memories here! It’s also SO close to downtown with tons of eating and activity options within a 5 minute walk.

Perfect location
We’ve stayed in Saugatuck many times and highly recommend staying at the Red Door. Nicely located at the end of Front Street…everything is close by. Highly recommend the Retro Boats and shopping/bars. We will definitely be staying again.

Stay with my 20 y/o neice
The property was very clean. Easy to get to, excellent directions and good parking spot. My 20 y/o niece didn't like how the windows faced the waiting area for the paddle boat. I didn't have issues with that. I just kept blinds closed when it started getting dark. I had difficulty opening the kitchen cabinets(maybe add a knob) however my neice laughed at me because she had no problem opening the cabinets. It was a good place for a home base while exploring the town and beach.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We wanted to escape to Saugatuck one last time before summer came to a close. This apartment was the perfect home base for us. We have a 1.5 year old and it was easy to "baby proof" while still letting her play while we were at the apartment. Such a great location...you are able to walk to so much! The apartment was clean and organized. It was very comfortable for us. The pack-n-play fit in the bedroom with room to spare. I had trouble loading information on Vrbo and Birdie was quick to answer and help us! We would definitely come back :)

The property is just as described in the listing. The best part is the great location near all of the riverfront/downtown restaurants, boat rentals, and shops. The Star of Saugatuck Paddelboat is located on the property which makes it super easy to take advantage of a great tour of the are by water.

Modern Quaint
A great experience. My wife and I were looking to enjoy some time together. The location was perfect located off the main drag and within walking distance of pretty much everywhere. We parked and didn’t drive the entire time until we left. Our stay was very enjoyable! The parking spot was a little tight but otherwise everything was excellent! A wonderful location to enjoy a getaway and experience great food and times.

Awesome getaway location
My wife and I had an amazing time in Saugatuck and this rental property was a big reason why. The location is great with access to the entire town with just a small walk. The cleanliness and decor were fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended.
