"Great location and grounds but pool was cloudy every day and section of grounds flooded on three different days right by the elevator and steps. Had a hard time getting them to answer the phone to address a few room issues. Tv reception was awful the whole week. One of the two elevators stopped working from the pool level possibly due to the flooding. Very nice employees and the restaurants were great. Plenty of security guards visible. Entertainment was excellent too. I’m going to go back and see if they fix the issues we shared with them. Our 8th time to Aruba but our first at Barcelo."

"The rooms had full kitchens which made it convenient if you wanted to do some cooking to save on some meals out including a refrigerator for drinks & ice to take beverages to the beach. We also appreciated a washer & dryer so we could dry our towels & bathing suits when needed. The pools were fantastic & the convenience of the 2 restaurants on site when you didn't feel like leaving the property. The walk to the beach was only 4-5 minutes & you could easily get a umbrella & chairs on Eagle beach early in the morning. The lobby could be bigger with more staff at the front desk but other than that we would recommend Eagle Aruba Resort. It was also easy to catch a taxi if needed being most days one would be already readily waiting out front."
