This was an excellent location for shops, restaurants and sightseeing. We were within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. The hotel had complimentary beer and wine between 5 & 7 and candy from a local candy kitchen. We will definitely come back.

Very nice, historic property on the Savannah River. Perfect location to explore the historic district, and in walking distance to many fine dining options. Rooms are spacious, and have so much charm. The manager’s reception daily from 4:00-5:00 is a must! Also, the attached restaurant, Broken Keel, offers a fantastic breakfast. If you stay at River Street Inn, you will receive discounts at Broken Keel, and Bootleggers. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was good, check out ok, but the Night person at front desk was great, very friendly and helpful. Great advice on things to do and places to eat. After dinner, when we pulled back the comforter on the bed that night, it had what appeared to be blood stains on it. I went to the front desk showed pictures to night person and he immediately gave us a new room. While the 2nd room was right across the hall, and a larger room, not sure it was worth the price.

This hotel was exactly what we were hoping for, historic but modern inside. The location on the River meant we had great walks at night after dinner and enjoyed watching the riverboats and shopping. We stumbled into a great restaurant in the Hyatt nearby. The breakfast in Huey's was terrific. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
