“There was no one there to meet us, help out or talk with. ….only a phone number to text if there was a problem. We were given a code for the front door and the key to our room was in the door to our room. Our room, #6, had a stand alone tub with a lip that was 30 inches high. We are in our late 70’s and neither of us could climb into to tub to take a shower. So we did without showers for 3 days. And there was nothing on the tub bottom to keep you from slipping. I remember the pix……

“The location of this hotel is wonderful! We had an amazing view of the beach and ocean. It was only a short walk down the promenade to the main street ( Broadway) where all the shops and restaurants were located. The hotel room was very quiet as well. It is an older hotel and is showing its age-needs some updating.”

“No A/C, ice machine was in the other building and had to DRIVE halfway around the block to get to it. Neighbors to the property were a little noisy.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. While the location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main downtown area—the overall experience was disappointing, especially for $249.93 per night. The biggest issue was cleanliness. When we opened the bed, we found blood stains on the sheets. Housekeeping came to replace them, but the replacement sheets also had blood stains. There were also mosquitoes in the room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The room……

“Very old, the room is smelly, and it is not cheap. It is an experience I have never had before.”

“The property was under construction where people where painting and all prep literally outside our door and had to stop working to move out of our doorway whenever we would leave. I had to navigate me toddler and kids down the walkway that had wet paint and sharp building materials and toxic fumes. It was terrible. The started working right outside our window at 9am—waking everyone up.”

“No hairdryer, check-in at different location, dirty chains to pull on light and fan. No closet or hangers. Small thin towels and sheets.”

“First time at Cannon beach and loved staying here. Loved we could walk to Haystack Rock at low tide and see the sea creatures and birds. The bonfire at night was perfect. My husband enjoyed looking for the sand dollar and found it. Will definitely stay here again.”

“I Absolutely Loved staying at here! The staff Greets you! They give you a tour of the place. They make everything feel so Relaxing, Safe, Secure and most of all Very Welcome! Our room was clean and made me feel like home. The bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The Staff is so Pleasant. I would Highly recommend staying here to my Family and Friends! When we come back to explore more of the coast we will definitely be staying here again.”
