We stayed at outbound sedona for my birthday weekend and loved everything about it. the staff were so friendly and helpful, Carolina is the sweetest! The restaurant was amazing, every meal and dessert we had was so good. the beds were comfortable, the views were perfect, and we enjoyed the gym and the clean, relaxing pool. the property was just renovated and feels fresh and calm.

From the moment we stepped in to check in we were greeted with a friendly smile. Delicious iced tea and a cold hand towel infused with palo santo. The room was very clean and smelled amazing. Pool and spa were well maintained at the perfect temperatures. Everything about this place is beautiful. We had a very lovely stay. Can’t wait to go back again.

This is a nice resort! I would not call it a luxury resort though. Our room had one chair to sit in between my husband and I to watch TV. I kept getting bit by fleas. It is a dog friendly resort which I don't mind. Our room was over sprayed with air refresher when we first stepped in the room. All-in-All, it was a nice place to experience. Doubt if we will come back, as it's pretty pricey!

We are so happy with our stay—absolutely everything was perfect! Clean pools, and the rooms are pure aesthetic joy. All the bedding and towels were amazingly fresh and smelled wonderful. Spotlessly clean! Everyone was so lovely. Outdoor yoga was a great bonus! 10/10, highly recommend!

We had an AMAZING stay at Outbound Sedona! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was phenomenal. A special shout-out to Richie at the front desk, he was absolutely the best! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that we had a great time during our stay. His kindness, helpfulness, and excellent customer service truly stood out and made our experience even better. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and having a mini fridge was definitely a plus! The property has so much to enjoy, including two pools, two hot tubs, an on-site spa, and a workout room, so there was plenty to do while still being able to relax and unwind. And we cannot forget about Lucida Desert Bar & Kitchen! 😋 The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Everything came together perfectly for such an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, we absolutely loved our time at Outbound Sedona. Between the beautiful property, wonderful amenities, great food, and exceptional customer service, our stay was truly memorable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sedona! ❤️ And Richie, thank you again for going the extra mile to make our stay so special!

There were limited reviews on Expedia when we booked our 2 day stay so we were a little concerned... but the concern was quickly erased once we arrived. The grounds, facilities and rooms were all well kept, clean and beautiful. The staff was kind and welcoming as well. Only 1 small frustration. The TV in the room is a smart tv which was great. We travel with our Roku so that we can log into our favorite networks and stream the shows we want. However, every time we switched the "input" on the TV to a different HDMI/Input, it would quickly change back to the public broadcasting channel. The TV had an override that would not allow us to use our own Roku. The only option was to use GoogleCast which was a pain in the butt and not in HD due to hotel broadband limitations. Why would the hotel care what we watched? The TV had a few preloaded streaming services like Netflix but we were unable to log in to Peacock, AppleTV, or Paramount. Why have TVs with multiple HDMI inputs if our kids can not use a gaming device or in this case, as adults log utilize a travel friendly streaming device? Completely killed the relaxation vibe at the end of the day. Worst things have happened elsewhere, we survived, just a little annoyed. Everything else was amazing and still recommend the stay to anyone who would ask.

This review is a bit tricky because I think my expectations were different from what this property actually is. We arrived around 11 p.m., and there wasn’t a single staff member at the front desk or anywhere on the property. It felt surprisingly deserted, which wasn’t the most reassuring first impression after a long day of driving. I was also surprised to discover that all of the rooms have exterior entrances. I hadn’t realized this when booking, and personally I don’t love that style of accommodation because it feels more like a motel than a traditional hotel. It’s clear that this was once an older motel that has been thoughtfully renovated. The design is clean, modern, and stylish, and the renovation team did a good job updating the aesthetic. That said, details like the popcorn ceilings and a lingering musty smell reminded me of the building’s age. Looking back, I think I could have enjoyed the property if I’d gone in with different expectations. It feels like a well-designed, upgraded motel that would appeal to hikers, road-trippers, and people who plan to spend most of their time outdoors exploring Sedona. Based on the photos, descriptions, and overall rating, however, I was expecting something that felt more elevated and more like a boutique hotel. If you know what you’re booking, you may really enjoy it. It just wasn’t quite what I had envisioned based on the ratings, reviews and photos.
