"Keep in mind this is a simple hostel (with no curfew). Nevertheless, I booked the more expensive private room. All my expectations were met. I had a clean, comfortable room/bed to sleep in. The hostel is along the main road and is near the center of town, but my room was very quiet -- I slept very well. The bathrooms are separate -- the one I used was roomy and the shower was fantastic. "The lobby and room was clean. It was nice to be right on the Lake. We wanted to have our morning coffee outside to enjoy the lake view but the patio, tables and chairs were overwhelmingly covered with bird feathers and droppings. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned up in quite some time. I can't imagine anyone eating out there, it was very unsanitary. The push button on the LED bathroom mirror did not work at all. It was very dim and we could not increase the brightness with either the button or the wall switch. At check in we asked if we could upgrade to a room with a lake view as they didn't seem to be booked out, but the desk clerk didn't seem to be very helpful or friendly so we just gave up on the idea. There is no breakfast buffet, which would have been nice instead of just a coffee station. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but would probably look for other accommodations if we decide to visit the area again."
