A good price, but a far walk

$20 a night??? I thought that this distinguished website had finally cracked and I was benefitting from the website error, but in all fairness this was worth the price. Located in a region of Shanghai with no direct subway access, walking to this location was not bad, but still rather inconvenient. Moreover, it is not very close to the Shanghai city center. There are few taxis, so expect to walk. As for the room, you get what you pay for. Bed, bathroom, and floor and not much else. The airconditioner worked, but for some reason ice shaving's kept falling from it every hour and waking me up! If you need a cheep place to stay, you can't get much cheaper than this. But if you want a convenient location and a good night's sleep, dig a little deeper in your wallet.

Be careful with discount prices

The hotel refused to give us the right room because the price they offered (which they obviously put in wrong) was to low in their opinion. After 1 hour argueing they finally gave us the room. Room had a strong smoke smell . Staff was partly very unfriendly, subway is about 25 min away from the hotel! I would not recommand this hotel.

halpa ja siisti mutta kaukana ja hieman kulunut

Kun tulin mietin että vaihdan hotellia, paljon huoneita, perustasoa mutta kaikki kyllä toimi ja hotelli oli puhdas henkilökunta ok. Kaukana kokouspaikasta ja pitää kävellä metroon jonkin matkaa. Metro kuitenkin tehokas. Kaikenkaikkea sittenkin hintaan nähden ok mutta kaukana ja kulunut. Muista ottaa osoite mukaan kiinankielellä muuten on mahdotonta läytää taksi joka osaa sinne.

Average hotel

Ok prices, thin walls, towels and everything you need was there. The staff were happy and welcoming. If you do not speak a little chinese you might have some trouble in the reception though, but its standard chinese hotel, overall a good hotel, green tree in does its job
