“Upon arrival the outside of the property looked clean and well maintained although, there was a construction dumpster in the parking lot. The check in process was quick and easy; the staff was welcoming and friendly. As we walked to our room, we noticed a strong musty odor in the hallway; however, the room itself did not have any unpleasant smell. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and for the price, we felt the hotel offered a good value. It was also close to the downtown Kokomo……

“When we pulled up, I thought this was an abandoned hotel and thought I may have been scammed. The lobby was decent, but the door leading into the hotel to our room did not lock. And our room did not have a chain or metal flip bar to double lock the door.”

“The only good thing I could say was the bed comfortable. Upon arrival, the host warmly greeted us however, the conditions of the downstairs seemed to be in renovation. The side entrance was ajar and there was no key entry there. The handicap door button also did not work. The elevator made a loud screeching noise as it approached our floor. Entering into the hotel room, we noticed smears across the mirrors and a generally dirty appearance. The sheets on one bed had stains and burn holes the……

“5 stars all around. Hotel is new, quiet and super clean. The bed was amazing, so comfortable! Staff was very friendly as well. The daily breakfast was delicious, the kids loved the warm cinnamon rolls. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area.”
