“This Inn is easily the best place I've stayed and I am saying that after having travelled to several countries within Europe, central and South America and the Caribbean. It is a very friendly atmosphere. The staff makes you feel like you are at home and welcomed with open arms. I have no criticism towards the Woodborough. Only too much praise. “Everythjng perfect regards the accomodation. However, the onsite restaurant was quite 'upmarket' ; expensive, with meals nothing like the 'pub grub' we had seen on the website- quite a shock! The staff though were excellent! ”

“Staff were lovely and happy to help. We got a free upgrade to a harbour view rooms Rooms were spacious. Quiet room. Bathroom was new but room was slightly outdated and had stains on the carpet. Overlap a good stay. ”

“Had a lovely one night stay at this beautiful hotel which has lots of character. I paid for a larger sea view room which had been recently renovated and even had a four-poster bed which was a nice surprise. It was spotlessly clean. The communal areas are a little tired but I expected they might be given the level of investment it would take to update everywhere. Breakfast was buffet style and fairly basic but sufficient. Very friendly and helpful staff ”

“I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise.”

“An absolute gem of a find. We booked for my birthday at the end of last year, loved it so much, went back this last weekend for our anniversary. The quiet location, the lovely food, the friendly staff, all make for a really gorgeous overnight treat. Whilst last time we stayed in the four poster bed room, we opted for the balcony room this time. It was a little tired and in need of some TLC but none the less, it was a lovely stay. ”
