"Property was perfect for myself, my sister and Mum. Everything you might need was provided and the property was very clean and comfortable in a fantastic location. Lots of pubs within walking distance and a nice Co-op for food shopping. Excellent location near the train station for travelling to Exeter, Exmouth and Dawlish etc. Parking space was not far away and easy to find. Stairs were a bit steeper than we realised for our Mum in her 80's which wasn't mentioned or photograped in the advert...

"A beautiful cottage in a tiny hamlet, central to many tourist attractions and major routes. What a fabulous stay. The extra little touches that Chris & Sarah did made it feel like a home from home. Communication was great throughout. We loved it and will definitely be back again."

"We stayed for a family birthday, wanting to be close to Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. The barn was in an idea location to get to both within 25 minutes. The views are beautiful as all the shared space is upstairs so panoramic views from every window. Deborah and Anthony were really responsive, a huge thank you to them. A few more utensils would be handy for cooking but we managed fine and it’s worth being aware the roads are super narrow and lots of potholes, especially if you have low profile tyres....

"Very well equipped, bedding & towels included as well as tea coffee sugar. Spacious and quiet. Only downside was travelling the single track roads getting to & from in a large car. Otherwise totally worth the cost. Thank you"

"dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

"Lovely, well-equipped cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Host is a genuinely kind, welcoming person. Had a very relaxing stay enjoying the peace, beautiful views and local birds and wildlife. Would love to stay here again."

"This property was perfect for our fishing break to the area, with Clatworthy, Hawkridge and Wimbleball Trout Fishing Reservoirs all nearby. Ken and Anne were fantastic hosts and were very helpful. We had a great holiday. Thank you."

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"This property looks great on the website but even better in person. Such a cosy well maintained, chocolate box cottage in such pretty and extensive grounds. Izzie and Willy are obviously as attentive to their guests as they are to the well manicured gardens that lead you down to the River Yarty. Really enjoyed our stay here along with the great recommendations of places to eat."
