Hotel Grand Pacific is in an excellent location near many of Singapore's attractions and shopping area's! Hotel Grand Pacific is an excellent hotel with outstanding staff especially manager Mr. Bernard Ho, reception staff mdm Christine, Ms. Mindy, Sun cafe in hotel staff Melsha and Katty bell staff Mr. Velu is super helpful from assisting guests with luggage to visitor information about sights in Singapore along with directions all are outstanding and a credit to the superb service at Hotel Grand Pacific Singapore!

Nice clean hotel. Lobby and entrance very nice, rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Only ate 1 of 3 mornings. Great location.

First room was sub-par and in need of renovation.Bathroom was highly patched up and in poor condition for the category and rate. Carpet was dirty. Hotel staff was kindly able to move me to a higher floor with better room in same category. You would be well advised to arrange/ask for a newer room if possible. Certainly check the room before unpacking. Both rooms had televisions with terrible reception and very limited selection. Both rooms had sinks with poor draining. Elevators worked awkwardly; there are two banks of lifts that DO NOT share the same call button so be aware you have to hit two different up or down buttons.. Pool area is awkward to get to and closes unusually early at 6PM. Changing rooms were not particularly clean. Location of hotel is good - bus stop in front and around the corner. Location is about a 5-7 minute bus ride to the Suntec convention center. Hotel is also nearby to MRT (metro rail) stop at Bugis Station However be aware that the MRT trains are several levels below ground and navigation to the surface can be a bit confusing. I advise using the lift/elevator to get to the surface and then try to navigate to the hotel. Was not happy with the breakfast service. Limited buffet selection of not well "maintained" food - especially with respect to temperature - not hot enough! Better options elsewhere. Be aware that there is a $300 Singapore dollar hold on your credit card while staying here. It was promptly refunded at the end of the stay.

I was travelling from Melbourne with family and is terribly disappointed by the hotel service as compared to the services we are used to in Melbourne. To begin with I had requested for an early check in which after back and forth conversation was granted with the notion that the request will not be honoured next time. I was really disappointed to hear this that I did not proceed to make any more requests. When we arrived, no one helped us with the baggage and staff were in general rude. The bed was not made well with bumps and lumps. The air condition if turned on beyond 20degrees gave out a foul smell so we had to keep it at 25 degrees throughout while it was 32 degrees outside. Overall the hotel experience was poor and not recommended. The only convenience is that it’s located well.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Grand Pacific for 5 nights. The location is very convenient to get around in Singapore by public transport as well as walking. There’s bus stops right outside the hotel and within 250m from the hotel, you can practically get a bus to anywhere in Singapore. I would rate this property a 5 star, except for a few reasons. We arrived at 5am and while I totally understand check-in is at 3pm, I would expect from a service perspective that you atleast offer your guests (who have already completed check-in formalities) waiting in your lobby a bottle of water as a courtesy. We had shifts change from the night to the early morning staff, but felt overlooked for more than 3 hours as we headed out at 8am. The room telephone wasn’t working, which we discovered the next day. The staff were prompt to send maintenance crew to have a look, but it seemed the line was dead and needed external contractors to attend. We opted for the issue to not be looked at, but ideally one would expect this to be picked up in checks while the room is prepared. Our 3 year old’s bath towel was mistakenly collected by the housekeeping staff while changing towels on Day2, and I had to keep following up the issue. However, Lee and Christine were better than other staff who took the trouble to look into it and help redress. Christine helper reimburse me while checking out, which I appreciated. It was hard to explain to a toddler why their towel disappeared.
