"You visit the hotel for the view and location, which it delivers on with the sea view rooms, pool and private beach. The property feels a bit dated however and lacks the quality of equivalently priced hotels. Breakfast was relatively poor and the offering around the pool not the best value but it’s almost what you expect. If you want a great base for Taormina with a view this works but it feels like the property and facilities need an update. Staff however were very helpful."

"This was the most amazing hotel… staff were so friendly and helpful. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. The grounds were so charming and not too manicured but beautifully kept and tidy. The birdsong all day was just delightful. The pool area was so clean & felt luxurious. The smell through the hotel was gorgeous. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for and it was all worth it! Only slight negative was the lack of plug sockets but given the property is over 300 years old it’s forgivable and was still very manageable! And the AC was amazing which I did not expect given the age of the property! We would return in a heartbeat!! And we got engaged here so would love to return!"

"Our stay at the Atlantis was excellent. From the concierge staying in touch for our room, the front desk helping with our bags, room service fast and courteous, and our room had magnificent views, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Our dinner at Nui was excellent with wonderful service. The only suggestion I would make is to upgrade the fitness center a bit and the decor could use a refresh but otherwise I would come back again anytime! Truly amazing experience."
