Out of all of the places we stayed on our trip driving up the coast, this was by far our favorite stop. We stayed at fancy resorts and swanky hotels, but the Siltcoos retreat was just magical! The amount of detail everywhere you look was amazing. The time and effort put into our conductors cabin, had us in awe. You guys are legendary for what you’ve accomplished there. Y’all we had deer walk up to us in the back yard! They didn’t even care we were there! The next time we are in Oregon, we will be staying with you! Thank you again for a magical stay. Your creativity has inspired us! I also thought it was funny you had “Du Monde” coffee because my maiden name is Dumond. So cool!

Super fun place w/ lots of personal little Star Trek features. Owner was friendly and helpful. Wish I could have stayed longer!

I can't find enough good things to say about the property and the staff. All was excellent. The Bloom room was unique in a good way with a wonderful lake view. And the Halloween decorations were done well. I kayaked, which I would highly recommend doing. The campfires at night and chatting with other guests was very nice.

Rooms are dated and not cleaned properly. I originally booked and paid for two nights (through Hotels.com), and extended my stay for one more night directly with the hotel. BUT finally the hotel charged TWO extra nights on the bill. I tried to negotiate with and ask for refund from the hotel by email, however they had not responded to my enquries and requests for over one month (I checked out on Jul 12 and it's Aug 20 today when I write this review.). It's very irresponsible.
