Sad Stay in Paradise
This place is good only for its view and pool. Very dirty. Staff at any number very unhelpful. No working wifi or tv for entire stay. Plan on cleaning everything yourself and purchading even your own spices and toliet paper. Would not recommend . Wish I could get my money back. Worst VRBO I've ever stayed at.

Horrible customer service and THEFT!!
After the first day of being there we noticed the ac was broken and it was 80 degrees in the unit. I reported it being hot and the ac not working at 6pm through the texting app, no one got back with until 10pm. They sent technicians out around 10am that next morning and then we were told we would have to check out of the condo and move to completely different location which was not beach front, it was on the bay. I told them we were not interested as we chose that condo because it was beach front and had a pull then they sent text messages demanding we relocate which i refused since we only had one night left of being there and i didn’t want to spend the day packing up our stuff only to repack for the night and go home the next day. So while we were at beach a crew of technicians arrived without our permission to enter and replaced the entire ac unit. My husband went up to get more drinks and found them hanging out on the balcony. They told him they’ve been patching the unit for a long time and have told the property manager it needed to be replaced many times but they didn’t want to spend the money. Later than evening we noticed my sons AirPods were missing and tracked the location and found they were in Brownsville which is where the guys told my husband they lived. I reported this to the property manager and they said they ask the guys to return them. No refunds were issued for having to deal with the broken ac or THEFT! Horrible customer service, shaddy people!!!

Great get away spot
It was a great spot for a nice, little get away. Right on the beach. We had a room with a view. It's clean and equipped with simple furnishings. Some of the furniture is a bit banged up but I didn't care. Easy set up to cook. Full size refrigerator. There are places to eat, shop and goof off at within walking distance or a quick drive. We'll go back!!

The Rooms were clean, organized, beatiful and bigger then in the pictures. The veiw was amazing, and just being able to walk out to the beach is the best. We had the BEST time. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

Relaxing Beach Vacation
The condo was clean and remodeled since some of the previous reviews. It looked very nice and the view was perfect. Our one big complaint was the television. It was internet-based with no cable, so everything had to be streamed. Unfortunately, the internet in the building is not robust enough to support streaming. We were looking forward to seeing the Olympics and the Super Bowl, but we spent most of our time watching a blue circle while the streaming buffered.

We loved the beach front and ocean views. The check in and out process was fairly easy once they sent the code the my correct phone number. The condo could have been cleaner and the dishes seemed dirty. For example, there was lipstick on the wine glasses. Overall, it was a good fit for our family of four and we had a nice time.

Love the Aquarius Condos- great views and beach access!! This room needed some repairs and updates. The refrigerator was rusty, no mirrors in the second bedroom, no ceiling fan in the main bedroom, the other two ceiling fans didn’t work unless the lights were on, needed sheet rock repair and painting.

This place has so much potential!
My friend and I came to SPI for 3 nights as a girls getaway. The Aquarius common areas are clean and updated and the beach front location cannot be beat. The condo itself has an amazing view and is the perfect size for a couple with 2 small children or 2 or 3 friends. The layout is good as well. You can sit on the couch and look out over the ocean! There have been some updates such as new kitchen counters and backsplash and the bathroom tile. The bedding was clean as was the bathroom. However, this place is in desperate need of a coat of paint everywhere. Lots of scuff marks and gouges on the walls and baseboards. The ceiling fan blades need to be wiped and the cabinet fronts need to be cleaned. The floor felt gritty and the tile in the corners was darker than the rest. As far as glass ware in the kitchen, I found exactly one wine glass. There were no other glasses for drinks. Just 2 plastic cups and mugs for coffee. I accidentally broke the wine glass and so I went to the Dollar store and bought two to replace it. Also, the dust ruffle on both twin beds was ripped in several places. These are easy fixes that can be solved by a trip to Walmart and the paint store. I can’t wait to stay here again after the owners give this place a little TLC!

The wifi did not work.
We were there for an online conference and the wifi never worked. We had to connect using our own phone's Hotspot. The place was smaller than the pictures and only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 4 people staying 3 nights. The freezer & refrigerator had a fishy smell and the stove top burners were slow to heat up on high setting.

Great location, just not clean!
I know it is not the property owner’s fault, but the property was not clean at all. It smelled clean but it wasn’t. I could tell the sheets were fresh, but the floors were dirty. There was no access to a broom to sweep throughout the week, which is important (hello beach). I attempted to contact the property manager before our stay, asked a question and never got a response. Bunk beds would work so much better in the second bedroom. Additionally, the bed in the main bedroom was literally falling apart. Getting into the bed was scary! It creaked and made a noise when getting into bed for the night!

Kitchen was poorly equipped. No broom or dustpan for clean up. No emergency lights for stairs. Poor emergency options. Black mold in bathroom. Dry wall in bathroom warped. Paint chipped throughout the property.

Good for the $$ but needs better cleaning
This property has great amenities- beach access and a lovely pool. Laundry on site and an elevator that works well. The main issue we had was that the condo itself was not very clean. The bottoms of our feet were black with dirt from walking on the floors the first day. Luckily the front desk staff let us borrow a mop to clean them. The covers on the bed were also paper thin, but the beds were comfortable enough. We ended up borrowing a couple blankets from family in town. The kitchen had nothing - no salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc so bring everything! The view was beautiful though and location is great. The price was good for a basic condo on the beach. I would just prefer not to pay a cleaning fee for a place that was not cleaned well.

Property management also did not know but thankfully the on-site staff was very helpful. No extra blankets available to utilize the additional sleeping options (hide-a-bed). Overall, the condo is outdated and could use a face lift but the views and location are great.

The place is nice, but when we tried to park, they gave us only one parking permit.
When we tried to park they gave us only one parking permit. My booking clearly stated I had two parking permits. I had even provided the Lic plates numbers. They said that it was my booking company’s mistake. This has been going on for years and they still haven’t fixed it. I couldn’t get a hold of the property owner.
