Southern Vermont is a historic and scenic region adorned with white churches and rustic villages. Rush down the slopes of varying difficulty in this resort, located in the Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forests area. Ski season runs from October through April. In summer, the Skyline Drive to the peak of nearby Mount Equinox offers panoramic views of the valleys and mountains in the park.

The region borders New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York in the northeastern part of the country. Fly to Albany International Airport or Burlington International Airport and rent a car for the journey here or get around the area via Amtrak train and Greyhound bus.
