“We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well. Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu ! Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. ”

“Room was nice, spacious and exceptionally clean. But the food was poor, avoid the Market kitchen. Brasserie 34 was the nicest. If you have mobility issues the hotel is massive and there is no assistance getting from the car park to reception with your luggage ”

“Had a nice night at the George. Staff in the pub and restaurant were great. The room was large and comfortable. Bed was huge. Managed to park opposite on the public pay& display but parking could be an issue ”

“Good points: Staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and tidy and food provision and bar was satisfactory. Poor points: The room was pretty sparse and lacking any warmth or character as were the rest of the facilities. We didn’t try the Spa or Golf, so can’t comment on this. gym, sauna, hot tub type facilities (which I would be happy to pay for) are pretty standard in most ‘Spa’ hotels so I felt a bit cheated. Maybe should have looked deeper into the hotel facilities before reservation,……
