“This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes.”

“This was probably the easiest check in/ check out process. Chris was great to work with and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The house is beautiful. Extremely clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to town which is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back! Thanks Chris for everything! ”

The first floor bedroom was a perfect fit for my 97 year old father. The beds were comfortable and the table was large enough for a family meal. Backyard was also a bonus! Great spot and close to all activities.”

“Great location when visiting JMU. House was very clean and well equipped. Owners were excellent and responded very quickly to any inquiries and provided great recommendations for area restaurants.”

“What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!”
