Adorable Guest House!
Charming guest house walking distance to all that downtown St Augustine has to offer. Built in 2017, this one bedroom, one bath, 500 SF apartment is located above our garage to accommodate guests in their own private setting. This property is an easy walk to both Uptown and Downtown St Augustine attractions. There are many restaurants just a short walk away including River and Fort, Raintree, Juniper Market, Borillo s pizza, Luli s cupcakes, and Mojos BBQ just to name a few.
This property includes a king size bed, 12 foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heat & air, endless hot water on demand, 2 large screen smart TVs and high speed WIFI (download speed over 400mbps).
Enjoy your own private entry to this upstairs apartment (approx 20 steps) with reserved, on site parking. This property does not have cable TV. The smart TVs have antenna reception which provides a hi def picture and receives all the major networks.
The kitchen does not include a range. There is a built in microwave, toaster oven and a griddle.
Downtown St. Augustine is best navigated on foot. Bicycles are not recommended as there are no safe provisions made for them on the roads or sidewalks.

Great location and property
The property was new and clean with everything we needed and some extras such as fresh cookies on check in and an iPhone cord for a bonehead like me who forgot hers. The rooms were bright and we could control the climate easily. We will likely stay again when back in St Aug!

Great location, super clean and comfortable! Host thought of small touches, like cold drinks in fridge and fresh baked cookies. Wonderful stay and definitely would choose to stay here again on our next visit!

Great stay at the Uptown Shack!!! Beautiful and clean property. Everything was absolutely perfect!!
Melody and Ali were great host!! They had everything and more that was needed for our stay. Best location and easy walk to Uptown and Historic Downtown. We had a great week and hope to visit again.

Don’t Pass This One Up!
Everything was perfect. The owners created an oasis with a lot of beautiful details throughout the unit. Nice location and owners very responsive. St. Augustine is a great place to visit. Would definitely go back if our travels take us there again.

A delightful place to stay in St. Augustine
This is a beautiful apartment above a garage behind the owners’ house. The spaciousness of the apartment is amplified by exceptionally high ceilings and a large porch with a table and two chairs. The owners went all out with details such as snacks, including a plate of home baked cookies, an assortment of beverages in the fridge and a welcome message on the counter. The apartment is accessed by way of a lane behind the house and there is a parking space provided. Entry directions were clear and simple and communication with the host was excellent. The location is on a quiet street just a short walk from the center of the city, the fort, and many other attractions. There are restaurants and a convenience store nearby.

Phenomenal place!
