Walking distance to historic downtown

Posted Aug 8, 2015
Hotel staff was very friendly. Pretty atmosphere around hotel. Walking distance to historic downtown and short drive to the beach. Hotel itself needs some maintenance, and the room could have been cleaner....but not a bad experience for the price.

Just OK. Quite a walk from the center and castle.

Friendly, helpful staff. Questionable cleanliness in some of the rooms. Breakfast could be better, eapecially the coffee.

Does the job.

Pros: All the above.
Cons: Nothing
Location: You need a car in St. Augustine.
Great location at a great price. Roomy room, nice pool, friendly staff, food to start your day. Clean. A little heavy on the deodorizer but don't let that fool you. Gorgeous Live Oak to sit under with your food. Good food and beverage in very short walking distance. WiFi, parking, basic breakfast all included. Just make sure your rate is under $80 per night.

Great location, close to the old city

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: The location and staff.
Cons: Rooms may need some painting and changing of doors and carpets.
Location: The hotel is across the street from the Fountain of youth and one block away from the Old Jail. The old city is within 30 min walk.
The hotel may need some cleaning. Blankets were dirty and there was a heavy smell of mildew although we did not see any. Towels were changed every day and staff was very polite. Breakfast was ok. The Internet was slow. The best thing about the hotel is its location.

Close to attractions.

Room was big, but in bad shape. Couch was torn and cushions were tuned upside down to hide how badly torn up they were. The staff however were very friendly and attentive. Hotel is just old. They need to put some money into it to have it updated.

AC was hard to regulate, carpet was dirty but no other complaints. Location very convenient to historical sites and Vilano Beach and restaurants.

Great location, it's even a stop for the Trolley.

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Location and the employees were very nice.
Cons: Updates.
Location: It was a central location period, even after the Trolley's operation of hours there were places nearby to walk to if you didn't want to retire early.
Hotel room was as clean as it can get, not sure how old the Inn is, would not get in the tub without my flip flop; tub and floor looked nasty, but the room was a nice size; big. The employees at the front desk/lobby were great; very nice and helpful, everyone of them.

Pros: Parking, breakfast, trolley stop, reception's kindness, quick check in/out, discount coupons for local attractions, hotel gardens, exterior cleaning..
Cons: Pool size, hosting price, room cleaning and musty smell, Interior presentation of the rooms and bathrooms, power suppliers (conveniently located), Mos
Location: Location is great and you are able to walk to many of the city interest points and a trolley have the hotel as a stop.
It is a very well located place. Staff is helpful and you even have a trolley having it as a reference point among the others in the beautiful San Augustine. However, the pool is a little small, but water temperature is nice an clean. Hosting price is a bit high. Our room was comfortable, but parts of the faucet in the bathroom weren't clean and we found a strong musty smell when we open the room door the first time, but fortunately, it gradually disappeared. Beds were very comfortable, but power suppliers were slightly poor and too far from your bed if you needed to connect your phone charger. Parking spaces were great and breakfast was plenty and good. Hotel is exteriorly nice painted and its gardens and views are beautiful.
