"My stay at this property was ultimately disappointing, especially considering the high price. While the grounds were well kept and clearly cared for, many other aspects of the experience fell short. Service The staff were consistently rather rude, which set a negative tone from the start. Interactions felt dismissive instead of welcoming. Food & Dining The food was mediocre at best, and the menu was extremely limited. Breakfast was only served 2 out of the 5 days that we were on property. This was frustrating and inconvenient. Facilities The pool clearly needed cleaning and updating. It didn’t feel inviting or well maintained a separate children’s area would be a great upgrade. Rooms & Property Condition The property itself shows its age. While the rooms have been somewhat updated, the overall feel is still dated and doesn’t match the price point. Value For what we received, the stay felt very expensive. The quality simply didn’t align with the cost. Positive Note The one standout was the well‑kept grounds, which were pleasant and nicely maintained. "

"My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Cruz boutique hotel. It’s located in a great spot with many things nearby, the staff were very helpful and generous. They offered beach chairs and towels and ice, they housekeepers went by everyday in the morning. And the staff gave great recommendation for parking, restaurants and beaches. Definitely will be back and staying with them again. 10/10"

"Amazing, affordable place to stay on St. John. About a 7 min walk from the ferry terminal. They have a lovely creole style restaurant & bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms have AC!!! All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. They also have snorkel & beach gear you can borrow free of charge. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!"

"Truly an amazing experience staying here! Such a peaceful part of St. John with the best access to snorkeling off the private beach and close to Hansen Bay. The views from the house were stunning and serene. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back to the island this is exactly where we’d want to stay! Appreciated the beach chairs, towels and coolers that were available for our use for beach hopping."

"The rooms are nice but it needs air conditioning or some way to close the balcony because bugs were coming in other than that everything else is good "

"We had an amazing week at Coconuts with our family of five! The views and amenities were amazing. We all loved the pool, the outdoor kitchen, the hammock, and the hot tub. The sunsets were gorgeous and everyone loved spending time there after a day exploring. Highly recommend!"
