“Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions. Kitchen surfaces were dirty on our arrival and there was no hot water or even……

“Four days before my arrival, I contacted the resort to let them know I would be celebrating my birthday and requested that my room be decorated. When I arrived a little after 12:00 p.m., I waited nearly three hours for my room to be ready, and it still wasn't decorated. I was told it would be done the following day, but it never happened. Eventually, I informed both the resort staff and Expedia that it was no longer necessary. Although I did receive an apology, the lack of follow-through was……

The only areas for improvement were: the seasonings were a bit limited – salt and pepper were almost gone; laundry detergent needed to be brought from home; and the shower water pressure was a little low.
