“Wonderful quirky and homely guest house that really felt like ‘home’ and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from arrival.
The street scene was beautiful and we parked super easy.
We stayed in the small double with the bathroom across the landing. Not for the prude, who prefer discretion, but we found it perfectly fine and a fun experience dodging guest movements up and down the stairway when using the bathroom. It is key locked, so no one else can use. Quite tight; I am 6ft 2in and found……
“The Townhouse bed & breakfast was beautiful and welcoming the moment we walked up to the beautiful garden. The wife and husband hosts were fantastic, the room was elegant and cozy. The made to order breakfast was 5 star, prepared by the owner who is a professional chef. Only wished we had spent more time in the beautiful B&B.”
“This was a great find. Dinner snd breakfast were great. Cool town and new rooms.
All was great except the tiny sink in the bathroom.
Beautiful Grounds

“We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs.
It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access.
The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests.”
“Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon!
Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location.”
“Wonderful luxurious small hotel in Ayr. Owners are very welcoming. Comfy bed, lovely linens, spacious, quiet. Walkable to town center. Highly recommended.”
