“They provide free laundry and free detergent so that was nice. Pool water was warm. There was free shuttle service to Vail village every half hour.”

“Stayed here for a few days to ski. Location is great, right in the middle of everything at the village and couldn't be closer to the snow. There is a lift literally out the back door of the hotel. Breakfast was nice. Euro style with the makings for lox style bagels, cold cuts and cheeses, boiled eggs, pastries and yogurt. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the fireplace, although even with it being cold outside it was mostly too warm inside to use it. Overall would stay again and……

“We had such a wonderful stay at the Sonnenalp! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. We really appreciated the complimentary SUV service, which made getting around Vail so easy. Huge shout-out to Russell—he went above and beyond with recommendations and genuine hospitality. The location can’t be beat—just a 5-minute walk to the gondola—and the ski valet at Gorsuch made skiing with kids effortless. The holiday activities were a blast!……

“This hotel is older but well kept. The Indian restaurant is wonderful and the bar/grill nice also. The best thing is the proximity to the Steadman Clinic and the Vail hospital. We were there for surgery and the location (literally right next door) made it so much easier. An easy walk to Lionshead also. ”

“The front desk was very polite and friendly at check in and each time greeted us when we came in. The restaurant was awesome with great bar service and selection. Breakfast was perfect with great service again. The room was very comfortable and very clean. We will stay here again for sure and highly recommend. ”
