“One again, everything about the beautiful historical place was great. Nothing should change”

“Fair price. I stayed for one night with my family and young children. The lady working the night shift at the front desk was amazing and very professional. However, finding multiple long hair strands in the bed was a major concern. It gave the impression that the bedding had not been changed before our arrival, which is unacceptable, especially when traveling with young children. Clean bedding is a basic expectation for any hotel stay.”

“We booked at this hotel because it had an indoor swimming The pool was closed and we could not use it our entire stay. There was no extra cable or streaming services unless we were already subscribed to Netflix which we were not. Unfortunately, we had to watch TV with numerous commercials. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was good”

“Was greeted by friendly Manager. Found room was pre-cooled and welcoming after my travel. Felt secure parking my vehicle and many found food and other public conveniences nearby. Checked out early AM before breakfast to continue travel and found the night shift manager at the desk wishing me a great day. Second time staying here, both times were very good for an economical overnight's rest.”

“The worst experience I ever had at a hotel. Rooms were filthy and the property was on big party place all night. I recommend that the place gets condemned and demolished”

“I booked this room through Expedia. The room I recieved, the door to get in as well as the bathroom doors were very hard to open. The bathroom door drug on the floor & really didn't shut. They told me they were booked & couldn't change my room. Night clerk wasn't friendly. The next day they found me a new room. As I booked online 8 weeks prior for that. Everything was great for our final 3 days staying here! Friendly staff, great breakfast!”

“The property was clean and in a safe area. The hotel did not have an iron, Kleenex in the room OR an ice machine. I’ve never stayed somewhere that didn’t have an iron or especially an ice machine in the entire hotel. Water dripped outside my window from the unit above me. It sounded like someone was tapping on my window all the time during the night. The maintenance person opened my window and placed a wash cloth where the water was dripping to decrease the noise which didn’t help because the……

“Pool was closed for repairs which was not reflected on the website. The tub faucet dripped constantly. The tub faucet was difficult to adjust the water temperature. The luggage cart wheel could not be turned when luggage was on it. The AC unit was oversized causing the unit not to stay on which caused the room to be humid. AC unit was loud when on.”

“This was a nice stay for us. It isn't a 4-star hotel that has coffee or breakfast in the morning, but we weren't expecting it. Our room was clean, the staff (especially Greg) was very helpful with an issue we had with the TV setup. Of several places we have stayed in Sumter in this category, this is the best one for the value we have found and we'll stay there again. ”
