9.4/10 Exceptional! (1,000 reviews)
We informed the desk staff upon arrival where we were parked (a handicapped spot) and were “upgraded” to a room they thought would be more appropriate: two floors up, plus six extra steps, jacuzzi tub (disabled guest could not navigate this due to an ill-placed faucet)…air conditioning not turned on.
The heat of the room was resolved in a few hours. It was explained to me that the room we were originally assigned was on the THIRD floor, which had no elevator access. Lesson learned. Be VERY SPECIFIC even if your mobility issues are minor. Management offered free breakfast. By the time we checked out in the morning, the elevator was broken and we had to very carefully get our daughter down two+ flights of stairs on our own. Breakfast was out of the question at this point; we just wanted to be on our way.
Do not recommend, unless the property can guarantee a room that meets ADA standards if necessary for your stay.
