"The place and staff was great but I do not recommend staying here. The manager flipped off my teenagers because she thought they were grown, flipped out because my 5 year old left a cup in the hot tub, took our keys before checkout and refused to give them back, tried to go into one of our 2 rooms before checkout, then had the nerve to call the cops and tell a bunch of lies so the cops just shook their hands and let us go. The staff said he didn't hurt the hot tub and apologized for managers behavior also stating that's how she treats the employees that why someone quit this morning. I've already contacted hotels.com and I'm contacting Wyndom as well because she's the manager denying everything and there's cameras to show her despicable behavior, something needs to be done about her, if she can't handle a 5 year old leaving a cup in the hot tub that did absolutely nothing (according to staff), how is she going to handle a bunch of drunken or hyped up motorcyclist during Sturgis? Just turned into an awful stay because of the management. Safe travels fellow travelers!! "

"The Clubhouse was very nice. They offered free refreshments a couple nights of the week. The area is beautiful with the Black Hills in the background! There is also a very good restaurant within a short walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely stay there again."

"There were people who must not have realized it is a waterpark attached to the hotel. They kept pounding on the ceiling and complaining to the front desk about the noise. We do have small children, but they are well-behaved and weren't being super loud, just excited about the pool. And not after hours or late at all. Laquinta should definitely tell guests that there is a waterpark and if you are too old, stay somewhere else. "
