“We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel.
The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny
But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)”
“Great property for kids. Took grandkids 10 and 12 yrs old. They enjoyed 2 Lazy Rivers, 2 outdoor pools and waterslides. No restaurants on location however Walmart supermarket and Walmart Supercenter within 10 - 15 minutes. Stayed in large 2 bedroom, full kitchen with washer and dryer. Stocked kitchen for lunch,and snacks but ate out for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of restaurants and things to do with 5 - 20 minutes. Staff was great! Beac across the street can walk or take shuttle. Basketball……
“We stayed here when we moved our son into college. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. They offer free bottled water that you can just take from the concession fridge. That was such a great perk. The Coastal Grand Mall is 5 min walk and is a pretty decent mall with a movie theatre. The pool is small and old/rundown. But we weren’t there on vacation so it didn’t bother us. 6 minutes to airport. The coffee was actually pretty good. The breakfast offered Belgium waffles that……
“Perfect family owned facility. They make you feel right at home. From advice of where to eat, pool and beach towels, beach chairs and even sand buckets I saw for the kids to use which makes traveling a breeze. Boardwalk and beach access is a hop skip and jump across the street. No crazy elevator wait times or crowds in your way at The Darlington. This is our forever weekend getaway place. “The carpets were horrible with stains! Not vacummed enough! Elevator was super slow and not too mention it needs 2 elevators! The carpet in our room was ok but needs to be cleaned also!!”
