“Our experience was so bad that we stayed only one night instead the two we booked and paid. The photos of the property are absolutely misleading, there is absolutely no view from inside. The surrounding area is nice, just not from right at the house. The beds were absolutely horrible. And to add insult to the injury the host, located directly above the unit we stayed in, walked around and had conversations until after midnight. We could hear every word and it felt as if someone would fall thru……

“The location was fantastic, only a few minutes from the train station. Surprisingly quiet with my window directly facing the train tracks. It was very clean, quiet and well kept. Automated check in was great and I never needed to contact the staff, other than to get my Ticino Ticket emailed to me. Make sure to use the Ticino discount Ticket at almost any attraction, and all public transit in the Canton. Big news for cat lovers, there is a shy but friendly long hair tabby in the area that wonders……

“The good: host was very responsive, location is cool, lots of things to see, beds were comfortable (although pillows were horrible), kitchen well stocked with essentials. The bad: not well cleaned, or maintained. Not suitable for a family or those looking for a restful stay. Here’s why: Laundry machine was broken, and we would not have stayed here had we known that as we needed to do laundry along a multi-week visit to the area. Host knew the issue, but “forgot” to tell us until after we asked……
