We were not aware that the bed would be on a raised platform - whilst not a problem for us, it might be for others if unaware. The room was very hot at night with no way to control the temperature other than opening the window. Check-in was a bit odd as you had to do this on an iPad and ‘create your own key’ - it would have been quicker for the staff member to just do it! It was okay overall. No kettle or fridge facilities. Hotel is in the process of updating rooms & bathrooms (02/03/2026) Our room was at the front of the hotel looking across to the station so quite a bit of traffic noise can be heard. Breakfast good and plentyful. Would stay here again but would request a quieter room."
