“We had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Pine Lodge. House is nicely stocked and well appointed. Highly recommend for families traveling to the South Lake Tahoe Area. Neighborhood is quiet and nice. ”

“We loved the house and the neighborhood. Short walk across the street to a beautiful beach and lake view. Kitchen was well equipped for family dinners. We had everything we needed. Great coffee shop and tavern about a five minute walk as well as a small market for groceries. Would highly recommend. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs. The four bedrooms were nice. Both bathrooms were clean and large. The hot tub was a nice feature. ”

“Zach's house was awesome! Nice open floor plan upstairs. All of the comforts of home-streaming on TVs, Alexa for music, plenty of kitchen accessories, gas grill on the porch, comfortable beds, spacious fenced-in yard & access to trails & open spaces. Zach accommodated an early check-in & was very communicative. We would definitely rent from Zach again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable sanctuary in South Lake Tahoe.”

“We enjoyed the location off of Pioneer Trail. It was a convenient distance to grocery market, Heavenly Village shops, hiking and beaches within 10-25 miniutes away. It felt like a comfortable cozy home away from home in the mountains. We had plenty of room for our family to connect with each other and retreat to rest for a nap. We were able to make family meals with ease, while doing a load of laundry as needed. We would definitely like to book this again. I would recommend this vacation rental……

“Very clean. Good location. Kitchen was not stocked with oil or spices like most places we’ve rented before and the living room TV would not play sound no matter what we tried. ”

“Great location on West Lake Boulevard with unobstructed views of Lake Tahoe. Bike/Pedestrian path accessed across street. Close to Tahoe City and evertyhing else on the West Side, including pristine and spectacular Emerald Bay and endless miles of hiking. House is well equipped, and has a private pier, paddleboards, bikes for guest use. Easy must do’s include cold plunging off the end of the private pier, scrambling up Eagle Rock a short walk away, and chilling on the large deck with full-on……

“We absolutely loved this property! It was spacious and cozy! The amenities were everything we wanted/needed and them some. The location is scenic, quiet and convenient to South Lake Tahoe. The hot tub is well maintained and a great feature. I had little need to interact with the host because everything was wonderful...but she was informative and made clear she was available if needed. Highly recommend this property for families or adult groups.”

“This cabin is tucked away in the best spot, close enough to enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer with the feeling of a perfect mountain escape. The hot tub was delightful after a long day enjoying all the beautiful scenic hikes within minutes of the cabin and surrounding the lake. The host is kind and helpful and very responsive. We will be back for sure! ”

“What a beautiful home and about 15 minutes to both Alpine and Palisades, as well as about 1.25 hours to Sierra ski mountains. We loved the walkability to downtown and dog park nearby.”

“This was a wonderful place to gather and enjoy time together at Tahoe! There was plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and have their own private rooms. Birgitta was very responsive and helpful all the way through! We hope to stay here again in the future.”

“The house was clean and very good location for our activities. We loved that we got to see a bear checking the bear boxes on garbage day. The kitchen had every utensil we could ever need. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“House was very clean and fit our needs. Listing was a bit confusing with number of queen beds. It’s 6 rooms- 5 rooms with queen bedsand a very small 6 “room” with a set of bunk beds. Again it worked well for our group, it just was confusing ”

“The house was spacious and had several amenities. The hot tub was great and the large, fenced in backyard was ideal for the dog. Only downsides were that the fridge was not working and a loaner fridge was installed and 2 of the fireplaces were not working. The heated floors were also nice. ”

“We had such a great time at your home. We loved the big windows watching the snow fall. My kids loved the stretch ropes in the back and the sleds. Thank you so much! Ps loved all the blankets, games and coziness. We could have used another pot or two for cooking but all the other supplies in the kitchen were great. Thank you ”

“Talk about a STELLAR home. The photos don’t do it justice. From the beautiful chefs kitchen to the comfy common areas, it was perfect for my group and I. We had plans in town over the weekend and ended up being greeted by a snow storm upon arrival and we couldn’t have been happier to stay in and enjoy this beautiful space. Riley and Clyde were very helpful/quick with responses and were a joy to communicate with. I travel quite often and this has been my best stay yet. We can’t wait to return! ”

"The hotel was not what I expected. The building and rooms felt outdated, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable, and I didn’t feel very relaxed during my stay. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a satisfying experience."
