“The resort setting is beautiful with gorgeous cypress trees and wildlife everywhere. The facilities have been renovated but still has a classic old Florida feel. The golf course is nice and reasonably priced. The tennis instructors were great especially Warren! Thank you for the input and fun!!”

“Beautiful and extensive golf community / resort. Old Florida charm. Rooms and architecture is 70s, and it’s a mix of residential and hotel units. Felt more like renting a condo than a hotel. Unfortunately we left w flea bites (most likely from the unit itself). That’s the reason for the low stars given. We did not raise a complaint with the hotel”

“Right on beach. We were placed in the front of the building 2nd floor. It was very quiet. It was busy with vacationers. The pool was pretty full. We didn’t get in because the amount of people. The beach was very pretty. We didn’t not use the chairs because we were trying to avoid too much sun. They close it up at 6:00 and don’t open till 9. We did eat breakfast with family at the restaurant outside. We loved sitting and enjoying time together. It was hard to get a seat not very accommodating………

“We’ve stayed here before a few years ago, and it was nice, but we have vacationed at other resorts in St. Pete over the last 4-5 years. OH. MY. GOSH. Am I glad we came back! We were blown away by Tradewinds this time around! The staff was absolutely exceptional, the grounds were amazingly well kept, and there was an abundance of activities for all ages between Island Grand and Rumfish. We will be staying at Tradewinds each summer for our future vacations!”

“Ideal bungalow, very clean. Pools are conveniently located with food and drinks. Alcohol beverages are a but pricy. Has some pots and pans in bungalow but minimal as related to preparing meals. Pull-out sofa is NOT comfortable. Bring a mattress pad. ALL staff were excellent with one exception. Young guy at pizza shop was not interested in service. Had to request napkins because he was using an empty napkin despinser as a window stop. He was quite put out with tequest. Least he could've done……
