Ant infested room + no water = terrible stay

Posted Aug 27, 2015
I guess you get what you pay for, but this was just ridiculous. We checked in around 3pm tues 8/25 typical room for the price. I noticed some ants on the bed cover and didn't think much of it. We left to go to the pool for a bit then back to the room to change and get dinner. We come back to see the desk filled with ants. I called the front desk and they said they would send maintenance over (not sure what they would do). Long story short, I end up calling back and requesting another room (no apology btw). The next morning we wake to no running water for the whole building this is 9am. I'm not really one to complain, I've been to hotels in 3rd world countries that were better than this.

Pros: In and out pool, game room, hot tub
Location: We went to Desani Habachi! Best food!
We had a nice time as a family together. The food in the hotel was Delisious, we had burgers and grilled chicken salad twice it was so good! My daughters 6 & 3 wanted chicken soup and it was made special for them.

Hotel is definetly not a resort!!

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: The location of the hotel was great bc we were going to the camelback Outdoor water park.
Cons: Everything needs improvement.
Location: Camelback outdoor water park. Ride up to the top of the mountain for a beautiful scenic view
This hotel is old and outdated. It is dirty and smells. The bed covers had yellow stains. The carpet was blank dirty. The pool was so dirty that I skimmed it myself to get the dead bugs and hair out of it. I would never go back here again.

Pros: Location for on and off the toll road.
Cons: As mentioned above, it needs a total rehab.
Location: Once you figure out the area, the hotel is a short distance from Cuyahoga National Park.
Location was fine for what we wanted to do, however, there is nothing around there. No other restaurants or shopping that you could walk to. The room was cluttered with outdated furniture; two people were very uncomfortable in room! The property is very big but is in a TOTAL need of a rehab. Everything looked old and shabby; even if it was cleaned, it still looked dirty. Grounds & parking area needed a lot of attention. The restaurant service was terrible!

Next to Camelbeach

We had a checkin snafu, and the clerk didn't have a room with 2 queen beds for us. So the manager approved a room upgrade if 2 king suites across the hall from each other! Rooms were beautiful, nice outdoor pool and deck, fitness center and morning coffee in the lobby. We enjoyed live music in the bar, and they tun a shuttle service to Camelbeach.

Stay in a different hotel if you can...

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Outside pool
Cons: Their policy about accepting pets. We were a group of 8 people and always one person had to stay behind because the pets could not bark at all.
Location: Water park
not worth the money you pay to stay here. Hotel needs major renovations overall

Stay away from this hotel if you have pets!

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: location to the water park
Cons: Their Pets policy. Indoor pool and jacuzzi, the chlorine smell was so strong that my friend's daughter threw up and we have to leave right away
Location: water park and few restaurants; great wolf resort
I booked 2 nights stay with my family. Per website and after speaking with a representative from the hotel, it was confirmed that this hotel is pets "friendly". Well, we checked in and went straight to get something to eat and left our dog in our room for about 1 hour. Upon on our return, we could not get into our room; we went to the front desk who provided us with a contract that we would need to pay 75.00 if any damages on our room due to our pet; on top of that, we were told that someone needs to be in the room at all time if the dog are left in the room because they can't be barking...EXCUSE? hotel should address that they only allow mute dogs!!! what dogs will not bark if they hear anyone passing thru the hallway?? also beds are terrible and room keys did not work 98% of the time.
