I am not a big fan of pets inside the hotels, but this one was well maintained despite furry creatures walking on the carpets in the hallways and the rooms."
"Great cabin close to several areas. We spent time in Boone, Damascus VA, and Bristol TN. This was a perfect home base for 3 days. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the porch. Everything in the cabin is as described. Joseph was a thoughtful host, keeping in touch the whole time. "
"Great customer service! The AC unit in the room made a bad rattling sound. I asked at the front desk if someone could come and check it out and within 15-20 minutes someone was up to look at it and he cleaned the filters and all was well. Much appreciated!! "

"This property may be better than advertised. It is in a great location just a few miles outside of Boone. Close enough to be back into town in minutes but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of space for multiple people to sleep and also space to gather in dining area and living room. Would recommend this property to any medium to large group. "

"When we arrived, the room we were initially given had a few things that still needed to be cleaned so we called the front desk to make them aware and see if we could just get someone to clean it. The front desk promptly called back and offered us an upgrade instead. Not only did they come and look at it themselves, but they showed us to the cabin we'd be in and were extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stellar experience! We will definitely be back! "

"The property was great. Far enough from town for quite, and close enough to go do the things we wanted. The owners had a great list of local places, which helped as I've never been to Boone. Great little city. The cabin was enough for two of us, and was a great spot to get away to. Keep up the good work. Dave"
"This is a very nice cabin in a great location. It is right near lots of things in Boone yet as soon as you turn up the street to get to the cabin it is wooded and secluded. The cabin was very clean and well furnished. It was definitely one of the nicest cabins we've stayed in. There were thoughtful touches like power strips near each lamp so it was easy to charge devices. It would have been nice if there had been a bigger table on the deck so we could have eaten outside. Also, something about the floors made it so my kids woke me up as soon as they started walking around upstairs (I was sleeping in the basement with a noise machine). Something to consider if your party has people who get up at different times :)"

"Clean and beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, and the apartment was well stocked with everything needed - towels, dishes, extra blankets, etc. Very quiet area yet only a four minute drive to restaurants. We even saw a few deer in the surrounding greenery. Will definitely be returning! "
"We absolutely LOVED our stay! Kids and pups had room to roam, felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere while still close to what we needed. We saw deer every morning and even enjoyed a hike to the falls with the best guide ever, Oreo! Already have next year booked!"
